Our staff of trained ergonomic professionals provide ergonomic
consulting services, including individual on-site workstation
evaluations with the following objectives in mind:
Option #1: Preventative Ergonomic Evaluation: This time and cost effective ergonomic workstation evaluation is designed for individuals or groups who are not experiencing symptoms, with an emphasis on problem prevention. The employee is trained on the essentials of setting up an ergonomic computer workstation, with on-the-spot corrections made during the evaluation. A Corrective Action Form is completed during the on-site evaluation, which outlines the problems and solutions. The form includes equipment recommendations and a floor plan of the workstation with recommendations. Average time per user: 30-45 minutes. Option #2: Standard Ergonomic Evaluation: This is recommended for early intervention for computer users currently experiencing symptoms. The employee is trained on the essentials of setting up an optimum workstation, with on-the-spot corrections made during the evaluation. The completed, type-written report provides an executive summary, user history, observations & recommendations, and a summary of findings. Average time per user: 1 ½ - 2 hours site time + report preparation Option #3: Comprehensive Ergonomic Evaluation: This fully documented report is designed for users experiencing medical symptoms. The employee is trained on the essentials of setting up an optimum workstation, with on-the-spot corrections made during the evaluation. A comprehensive, type-written report includes photos of the employee's workstation and posture, and recommendations for behavioral, postural and ergonomic adaptive devices. The workstation design includes an easy to read floor plan with workstation recommendations. Average time per user: 2 - 3 hours site time + report preparation. |
